Mruthyunjaya Yantra

Benefits derived from the worship of Mruthyunjaya yantra :

HEALTH is wealth. The concept of health was persistently repeated by sages
and religious leaders through many ways. One such way is by using Tantric
practices. Each Yantra is carefully made for a specific purpose and
Mruthyunjaya Yantra is specially made for regaining good health and
longevity. Mruthyunjaya Yantra relieves one from all dreadful diseases and
bestows the native with health, wealth, happiness, good fortune and fame.
The word 'Mruthyanjaya' literally means one 'who has conquered death', and
here it denotes Lord Shiva. Hence if Lord Shiva (the destroyer of the world)
is propitiated, then he will relieve the devotee from all infirmities.
Worship of Mruthyunjaya Yantra is a little bit difficult but he who
performs ardently, receives the benefits of this Yantra in multitude. To
attain the full siddhi of this Yantra, the moola-mantra should be recited
for 10, 008 times.
"Tryambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim pushti vardhanam!
Urvarukamiva - bandhanan - Mruthyormukeshiya mamruthath"
"We worship the three-eyed Lord Shiva, who confers ever-increasing
prosperity. Please liberate us from the hands of death as effortlessly as a
Cucumber gets separated from its branch; please do not let us turn away from
liberation".
The above mantra has 32 letters; together with "Aum" it becomes
33. Sage vashishta has discovered 33 universal powers from this mantra which
are 8 Vasu, 11 Rudra, 12 Aditya, 1 Prajapathi and 1 Vashat.
This mantra can be chanted with the help of learned Vedic pandits. If the
horoscope indicates very unfavourable time and the native is fatalistic, the
mantra should be recited 1, 25,000 times within sixteen days to get
immediate relief. This Yantra can be carved or embossed on a silver plate or
on Vibhuti (sacred ash). Design of the yantra is of 2 types. Any one form
can be used. Vibhuti can be applied on the forehead of the patient. One
important thing to be noted is that, the Yantra should not be kept in the
houses. It can be donated to the respective Pundits who perform the rituals.
Mruthyunjaya Yantra, not only saves the life of the sick, but also protects
the worshipper from fatal accidents and deadly diseases.
Sage Sukra, after doing penance for thousands of years at Varanasi, compose
this mantra. This is also called Mrutha Sanjeevani Mantra which can bring
back even the dead to life.
